This is an after dark screensaver that I hacked, it now has cute little bunnies instead of toasters (needs a color Mac). Here is a little stereo beep I recorded.
Since I just can't leave things alone, here are my somewhat dated ResEdit hacks for mostly older versions of Eudora Light 1.5.4 , Eudora Light 3.1.1 , Netscape 2.x , Fetch 3.0.3 , Ircle 2.x , PPPop 1.4.x , FreePPP 2.x , PPPThang 1.x , and Aaron 1.3.x. What do they do? They contain resources usually to alter the program's menu equivalents, sounds, pictures, etc...usually adding to the program's usability. Sometimes just for adding do-dads.
This next is not really a hack..but, I'd like it to BE a hack. It's what I'd like changed and added on to Open Transport to make it a shmorkinzly good internet thingamajigger for years to come.
Here is a page that has all the search engines I usually use on it. One day someone said to me "Why don't you put this page on your site?" And then I said, "Um...okay.". So if you want to start your search on one of several engines without waiting to connect and a zillion graphics to load, go to this page and save the source to your hard drive. Then whenever you need it, there it is.
Also, closly related to all this (under the 'bite' catagory).. My GATB pages containing media captures of Gillian Anderson from the X-Files, are once again on my site.. They're still being served (in altered green-0-fied form) by Chanteur, and have been placed (among other places) here, continuing to work far better than they ever were on that flarking netcom server.
But the big news, is they're all back and better than ever on this page.
